Idaho National Laboratory's (INL) BOF Performance Management group is seeking forward-thinking, professionals interested in exploring a career as a Performance Analyst!
The Performance Analyst has dual responsibilities:
Senior Performance Analyst for Safeguards and Security (SS): Lead and execute the SS's Contractor Assurance System (CAS) by interpreting program requirements, identifying work scope elements, and establishing the strategies and tasks needed to ensure successful execution.
This includes providing direction and oversight to the SS, performing CAS elements, establishing expectations, providing work direction, and assigning tasks.
This position reports directly to SS Senior Management and works with all levels of management (including DOE) as necessary.
This position serves as a peer reviewer for other projects and organizations and collaborates with other organizations in the development of lab-wide processes.
This position is also responsible for acquiring the skills and qualifications needed to serve as an issues management coordinator, the SME, assessment lead, SS Management Observation Program lead, Integrated Operations Performance Analysis Council (IOPAC) representative, event causal analyst, event critique lead, lessons learned lead, and Metric/KPI SME.
2. Management System Lead (MSL) for the Asset Protection Management System (APMS).
As the MSL, this position handles and coordinates the end-to-end business processes that comprise an APMS, having full authority and accountability for standards of performance as outlined in R2A2-117.
3. Review performance and operational data sources to identify risk to mission accomplishment, and to work with leadership to inform and mitigate identified risks as appropriate.
Business, Technical or related degree & 8 years' experience or Advanced Degree and 6 years' experience, or a combination of professional certifications and/or licenses and commensurate experience.
Understanding of Contractor Assurance processes.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively gather, analyze, and communicate performance related information to all levels of staff and management.
Knowledge and understanding of Key Performance Indicators, Human Performance (HPI), analysis of performance data, identifications of potential risks to mission goals, and contractor assurance processes.
Knowledge and understanding of work control processes.
Demonstrated progression to more responsible professional positions.
Individual must demonstrate convincingly that they possess the judgment and experience base to credibly advise management on matters of strategic importance to the organization's function.
Capable of working effectively across organizational and functional boundaries.
Ability to be qualified as a Lead Assessor, Critique Leader, Lead Cause Analyst, and/or PAAA/NTS Screener in accordance with Laboratory requirements within 6 months is required.
Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
