POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a Materials Coordinator for an on-site position in Boise, ID. This is a full-time position with company paid benefits.
Responsibilities
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within departments in accordance with the production schedule.
- Work closely with purchasing groups to track and receive materials.
- Duties include but are not limited to freight and logistics services - unloading/loading, storing, staging, counting, packing and distribution of materials as needed.
- Manage the cycling of parts to and from the rework vendor and track by serial numbers as needed.
- Manage the return of material, parts, and assemblies into the warehouse and storage area.
- Responsible for maintaining the equipment tracking database with accurate information such as part and serial numbers.
- Compile ad hoc reports of quantity and type of material on hand.
- Identify areas of concern with regards to the production schedule.
- Move material from one location to another using a hand truck or pallet jack.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts of the warehouse and storage area.
- General organization and housekeeping of the warehouse and storage area.
- Performs other essential functions as assigned.

- Work experience in materials management.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Able to use and run reports in an MRP system.
- Cycle counting process knowledge.
- Team oriented.
