BYU-Idaho IT Product Managers (PdMs) ensure optimal performance, stability, and value of IT products. They facilitate collaboration between technical and business teams, oversee product transitions, conduct ongoing business analysis, and coordinate with various stakeholders. Key functions include participating in application governance councils, managing product maintenance, and serving as the main point of contact for enhancements and change management from vendors.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or comparable field is highly preferred.
Required knowledge and skill set are typically obtained through 3+ years of general IT Management, IT project management, IT Product Management, IT Enterprise Systems Management, or Computer Programming.
Profound knowledge of complex enterprise IT systems.
Strong business relationship management, including team coordination and stakeholder communication.
Rapid and effective communication abilities.
IT business analysis expertise.
Experience collaborating with high-level internal and external executives.
Skilled in motivating diverse teams from various organizations.
Stay current with higher education and enterprise technology trends.
Advocate for a positive approach to safe operational policies and procedures.
