The Campground Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting manager in opening, operation, and closing of the Colter Bay Campground and the Colter Bay RV Park. This position is responsible for the safety and cleanliness of the Campground.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
+ Ensures high level of service and overall operations of Colter Bay Campground and RV Park
+ Assist Manager in supervision of Supervisor, Campground Attendants, and Public Areas Attendants including training and on-boarding, hiring, performance management and disciplinary action, payroll, and day to day employee operations
+ Oversee Recreation.gov Campground Management system including being system expert, training, and managing campground inventory
+ Maximizes site rental revenue/occupancy including site moves, closed sites, and manager sites
+ Ensure highest level of service is provided to all guests and manage any guest concerns or challenges that arise
+ Assist with duties as needed including check-in, campground rounds and patrol, cleaning of bathrooms
+ Assist manager with overseeing compliance, training, operation, and safety protocols of propane dispensing
+ Partners with NPS in bear patrols ensuring safety of guests and preservation of the wildlife
+ Oversees and completes opening and closing procedures of the Campground and RV Park
The “must haves” for this position include:
+ Have knowledge of RVs and campers
+ Ability to supervise other employees and to delegate responsibility
+ Ability to use Microsoft Office Applications, Payroll, Purchasing, and Work Order Systems
+ Great leadership skills
+ Possess disposition suitable for constant guest service
+ Ability to lift, walk up and down hills, and bend without difficulty
+ Must have a valid US drivers’ license
We prefer that you have the following experience / qualifications, although it is not required:
+ Previous management experience
+ Knowledge of Grand Teton National Park
