Job Description
Assists brick- or stonemason with building structures with stone, concrete, and tile cutting, as well as shaping and dressing materials. Lifts, carries and places prepared blocks. Assists brick- or stonemason with constructing and repairing surfaces or structures. Prepares surfaces prior to beginning work. Assists brick- or stonemason with fabricating, altering, repairing and maintaining walls; sidewalks, street curbs, floors, bathroom showers, sink counters. Assists brick- or stonemason with partitions and maintenance, of structures of surfaces and other related surfaces.
Mixes cement using hoes, cement-mixing equipment and/or hand tools. Cuts bricks and concrete using hammers, power abrasive saws, paving breakers, mills, and/or hand tools only after brick- or stonemason has communicated or marked the exact cut. Assists brick- or stonemason with molding expansion joints and edging tools, jointers, and straightedge. Operates equipment such as forklift, dump truck, and flatbed.
Job Information - Need 2 workers. Season. Temporary. H-2B from 04/01/2023- 11/30/2023.
Hours -- 7:00AM to 5:00pm
Eduction and Experience -- None Required.
Wage Offer(s) and Availability of Overtime Pay- Worker will be paid no less than 19.56 per hour. Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather or other conditions, and will be paid at 29.34 per hour.
Worksite Location(s)- Work will be performed in The Southeast-Central Idaho Non-Metropolitan Statistical Area (Non-MSA); Idaho Falls, Idaho Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA); and Southwest, Montana Non-MSA.
Availability of On-the Job Training- The employer does provide on-the-job training.
Single workweek for pay- Payroll is done biweekly on every other Thursday a single workweek will be used in computing wages due.
Provision of Board/lodging or Other Facilities-
The employer does not provide any type of housing.
Deductions from the Worker's Paycheck- The employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law.
Inbound/outbound Transportation and Subsistence- If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will arrange and pay directly for transportation and subsistence. Daily subsistence will be at least $14.00 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
Daily Transportation- daily transportation to and from the job site will be provided by the employer.
First Work Week Reimbursement- Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees) that employer hasn't already paid for.
Provision of Tools, Supplies, and Equipment- The employer will provide workers at no charge with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job.
3/4 Guarantee- The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period
