Your Impact:

We’re seeking a Project Controls Professional in Greenville, SC, to be part of a team of professionals with a comprehensive understanding of Project Controls principles, theories, concepts, current industry practices, and standards. The best part is you can live anywhere within the U.S. to support our team successfully, and ideally, you’ll live in the Central or Eastern Region of the U.S.

You will be vital in setting up, monitoring, and forecasting all project elements with a focus on scheduling. You’ll collaborate with the team to develop and build project schedules using Interactive Planning sessions. You will status the scheduled activities, perform critical path analysis, integrate change notices with known impacts, and provide recommendations to the project team. This will help drive us to successful project delivery. You will also be responsible for resource-loading the schedule to determine peak staffing needs within Engineering and Construction.

You will be responsible for all project cost elements, including scope changes, inputting or updating budget information, expenditure information, and forecasts into the cost reporting system(s). We’ll lean on you to prepare and analyze revenue and cost for both home office and construction services, including recommending corrective actions to the project manager. We will also tap into your expertise as you meet commitments made to the client, individually or as a team, to complete work by specific dates or within agreed effort hours or cost budgets.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

+ Bachelor of Science in Construction, Engineering, or equivalent practical years of experience.

+ Substantial postgraduate years of demonstrated history of Project control experience in some or most of the following markets: consumer products, pulp & paper, foundry, grains, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, chemical processing, electric vehicles, & data centers.

+ Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.

+ Proven experience with Project control principles and methods including, but not limited to, Budgeting and Forecasting, Change Ownership Systems / Procedures, Work Breakdown Structures, Earned Value Systems, Contingency, Schedule Planning, development, updating, and resource loading.

+ Ability to effectively communicate with project management, other project leads, the client, vendors, and construction management.

+ Ability to identify potential problems and elevate these to the appropriate level(s) of management.

+ Thorough planning and organizational skills.

+ Willingness to travel on average 50% of the time.

+ Ability to perform presentations to Jacobs management team.

+ Experience in Eco-Sys.

+ Experience in Acumen Fuse and Acumen Risk.

Hired applicants will be able to purchase company stock and have the opportunity to receive a performance discretionary bonus. The base salary for this position is $93,700 – $123,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations if remote. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
