Summary:
Global Research Operations builds and scales programs to strengthen the impact of our research teams. We drive efficiency, cultivate relationships, increase knowledge sharing, and build capacity within our organization to enable Researchers to do their most impactful work. In this role, you will define, establish, and maintain the global programs that support research participant recruitment across Meta. You’ll utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills to help our talented team operate at their highest and most effective level.The GRO Participant Engagements team is responsible for building + maintaining Meta’s strategy to recruit participants for our UX Research pillars. As a Manager, GRO Participant Engagements, you will partner and supervise critical relationships with vendors, act as an internal connector, and problem solve operational hurdles to enable researchers to do their most impactful work. In this new role, you will define, establish, and maintain operational and team-wide programs as well as create and manage processes to support the scaling team. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, enabling the team’s best work by leading strategic planning of programs, managing short and long-term project milestones, anticipating project issues and resolving them, and removing barriers to doing great work. The Manager, Participant Engagements, is an expert in problem solving and multitasking, while building long-term relationships with the team and cross-functional partners. You will utilize a full range of organizational and interpersonal skills that help our talented teams operate at their highest and most effective level.This role requires both execution and strategic-focused program management experience as well as excellent stakeholder management skills. Executive communication skills, ability to manage complex logistics, and a highly organized approach are mandatory.

Manager, GRO Participant Engagements Responsibilities:
1. Independently formulate + drive cross-org Participant Engagement strategy by developing systems that reliably identify UXR recruitment needs and surface them appropriately to internal GRO team as well as our vendor
2. Design + execute robust vendor engagement strategies that ensure both a high quality of recruitment service and an appropriate return on resourcing investment
3. Work across all of our UXR pillars (10+), in partnership with their respective leadership teams, to assess + target pillar-specific participant participant recruitment strategies
4. Translate Participant Engagement strategy into plans that drive down cycle times and enable the team to execute with greater clarity and intensity
5. Independently formulate UXR-wide communication plans
6. create and deliver executive communications to our leadership regarding program success + challenges
7. Design organizational structures that support both people and long term business interests
8. Lead and develop a multi-disciplinary team with varying levels of experience
Minimum Qualifications:

9. BA/BS degree or higher
10. 18+ years of experience in operations or project/program management
11. 5+ years people management experience
12. 3+ years of experience in market research, ux research, recruiting or vendor management
13. Proven track record of breaking down processes and identifying pain points to deliver business improvements
14. Experience communicating and collaborating with a variety of cross-functional audiences ranging from analytics teams to directors/VPs
15. Experience of operational routines and the management of internal-facing project teams
16. Experience scaling operations in a business environment

Public Compensation:
$172,000/year to $241,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
