Job Description

Summary:

We are hiring an experienced Technology Specialist who will report to the Director of Tech in People Development. The ideal candidate possesses a deep knowledge of learning sciences, learning technologies, and has a proven track record of implementing learning strategies and technologies that improve organizational performance while optimizing the operational efficiency of its supporting learning function. In this role, you will manage key relationships with the leadership in product, engineering, Operations, and other People Development leadership to influence and align our emerging technologies strategy with product and program roadmaps. This role must be culturally aware, process-oriented with structured problem-solving skills, and an ability to work cross-functionally. A bias for execution while maintaining a strategic mindset towards the future is required to be successful in this role. The ideal candidate will be a strong product analyst and builder, has a strong and proven track record of understanding current/emerging trends (AI, Metaverse) in the corporate learning tech space including digital learning and learning measurement. You will work closely with Meta learning teams and Enterprise Engineering teams to shape strategy and implement learning tech solutions at scale. Along with other Technology Specialists on the team, you will identify and implement the technical solutions needed to optimize the learners’ experience.

2. Partners with PD leaders and cross functional partners to develop and maintain the People Development Tech Strategy year over year

3. Provides thought leadership on how to address complex program needs problems with strategic digital learning solutions

4. Translates high-level business requirements into detailed system-level and functional requirements for technical implementation

5. Maintains a deep knowledge of learning sciences and remains abreast of industry best practices as well as innovations in technology (AI, Metaverse) and shares this knowledge with team members across People Dev

6. Collaborates with key stakeholders across People Development to understand the implications of key decisions about learning tech

7. Leads requirements gathering, user stories, and roadmapping

8. Leads experiment design of different types of testing (A/B, focus groups, usability testing, QA), synthesizes results, and iterates based on results to ensure customer-centric and highly usable products

9. Contributes to the development of proof of concepts and/or pilots while working with cross functional partners

10. Consistently engages with cross functional partners to keep them aware of People Development strategic tech initiatives

11. Innovates, selects and implements the frameworks, methodologies, and tools to optimize People Development’s tech strategy and learners’ experience

Minimum Qualifications:

12. 8+ years of experience implementing learning technologies at scale (LMS, LXP, LRS, Chatbots)

13. 8+ years experience in a learning & development function

14. Skilled in the design and implementation of learning technology solutions and architectures

15. Experience partnering on enterprise technology implementations and solutions

16. Experience managing and maintaining standards and governance within systems and technology

17. Experience using a variety of data sets to develop solutions

18. Knowledge of emerging and innovative technologies

19. Experience creating and evolving concepts in a collaborative environment through team and stakeholder reviews

20. Product development and user-centered design experience

21. Analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills

22. Communication and interpersonal skills

23. Experience bringing more ideas to the table

Public Compensation:

$143,000/year to $208,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
