Job Description
Grangeville based company looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager/Foreman to plan, supervise and manage a wide range of construction projects in our excavation based company. Eligible candidates will organize and oversee active contracts, logistics and personnel management; estimating opportunities are available to those with qualifying experience. A qualified Construction Project Manager must be well-versed in all construction methodologies and procedures and able to coordinate a team of professionals of various disciplines to achieve the best results. The goal will be to ensure all projects are successfully delivered on time according to the requirements and specifications of each contract while working within a set budget. Wage is DOE and competitive! Benefits & retirement included Responsibilities • This position is largely coordinating logistics for projects including: personnel, materials, equipment and transportation while abiding by strict schedules and predetermined deadlines • Collaboration with office staff, estimators, engineers, inspectors, Subcontractors, vendors etc. • Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limits • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met • Supervise the work of laborers, operators, etc. and serve as overall jobsite representative for the Company • Evaluate progress, prepare daily reports and communicate regularly with office staff • Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues Requirements • Demonstrated and reputable experience as a construction project manager • In-depth understanding of construction procedures and material and project management principles • A team player with leadership abilities & outstanding communication and negotiation skills • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Willingness to travel • Computer Literacy preferred in Word, Excel, email • Familiarity with quality and health and safety standards • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening • Valid State issued Driver's License • This is not a “9 to 5” job; it requires a dedicated and ambitious work ethic
