Express Employment Professionals is seeking to hire a Bilingual Human Resource Assistant for one of our respected clients in Fruitland, Idaho!
Location: Fruitland, ID
Salary: $16.00/HR
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
Language Requirement: Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Position Overview:
This role will support the Human Resources Coordinator and may handle various HR duties including recruitment, safety, employee relations, and more. The HR Assistant will also coordinate truck drivers transporting food products to and from the plant. The HR Assistant will primarily be doing orientations and tours in English and in Spanish.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with recruitment and succession planning for non-exempt positions.
- Conduct interviews and orientations for new hires as needed.
- Support monthly safety and safety committee meetings.
- Oversee attendance, progressive discipline, and consult on related issues.
- Assist with staffing and scheduling needs
- Perform weekly timecard audits in EmpowerTime system.
- Help organize company events, employee recognition, and rewards.
- Maintain accurate personnel files, medical records, and compliance with HIPPA, Federal, and State Regulations.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA programs, workers compensation insurance, and unemployment regulations.
- Enter new hire paperwork into NAV and ensure accounting specialist receives necessary documents.
- Manage office related tasks including mail distribution, answer phones, and maintaining office supplies.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace, report any contamination risks, and comply with plant security protocols.
