Job Description
Our well-established and long-time family office and private family foundation in Boise, Idaho is searching for an Accountant. In this role you will be responsible for financial reporting for our multiple entity organization. You will develop and maintain accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial statements and perform a full range of accounting activities including general ledger preparation, accounts payable and receivable processing, financial reporting, contract tracking and administration, budgeting and forecasting support, and assist with cash management.

RequirementsIf you thrive in an environment of performance accountability and meet the requirements below, we’d love to hear from you:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
· Minimum of 5 years’ progressive accounting responsibilities
· Experience in closely-held business organizations with both GAAP and tax-basis accounting preferred
· Highly organized and attentive to detail, producing thorough, quality work
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills communicating effectively and proactively with individuals at all levels in the organization. Ability to build positive working relationships
· Ability to work individually, critically evaluate and execute process improvements and work as part of a team including leading special projects
· Ability to take direction, anticipate next steps, adapt approach
· Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely, objective and confidential manner; uses logic and good judgment to reach solutions
· Ability to effectively prioritize and plan work activities, use time efficiently, and meet deadlines
· Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
· Technical Skills – PC excellence, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, ability to learn and administer new technology; Sage 100 experience
