Job Description
NxEdge is a world class company providing vertically integrated solutions to the Semiconductor market. Our expertise in Engineering Material Coatings (EMC) allows global leading chip manufacturers and OEM equipment makers to achieve next generation technologies. We are seeking a driven, hands-on Display Machine Support Technician to join our ever-growing company.The position of Machine Support is designed as a support roll. The individual is expected to work as a direct subordinate to the Display Manager. This person will work in conjunction with the shop leads. The daily tasks will be inline with that of the shop lead. This position is designed to help the flow of production from the raw material through finished products.
The individual is expected to work along side the Machine Team and Surface Prep team.
Minimum qualifications:
- Have basic safety understanding in a production environment
- Have a working knowledge of production flow
- Have a working understanding of basic machining
- Have a basic understanding of ERP systems
- Have ability to adapt to everchanging schedule
- Driver's license
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Ability to learn CNC machining
- Ability to learn to read blue prints
- Understanding of precision measuring equipment
- Stand for long periods of time
- Stand in large wash bay for long periods of time
- Production or manufacturing experience
- Basic math and measurement skills required
- Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
- Able to walk and stand most of the shift
- Able to fully reach with hands and arms; stoop, twist, kneel, and crouch
