Job Description

Gem State Staffing-Caldwell is seeking reliable and hardworking Temporary Construction Laborers to join our team for short-term projects. This role involves performing various manual labor tasks at construction sites, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Projects typically last 1-3 days, with hours and wages varying by assignment.

• Assist with general construction tasks, including loading and unloading materials, site cleanup, and debris removal.

• Operate basic hand tools and equipment as directed.

• Support carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material preparation and transport.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations.

• Perform physically demanding tasks in various outdoor weather conditions.

• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted and carry out physically demanding work.

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.).

• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions from supervisors.

• Prior construction or labor experience is a plus but not required.

• Must have reliable transportation to job sites.

• Must have steel-toe work boots. 

• Wage: $17-$20 per hour, depending on the project.

• Hours: Vary by project, typically 1-3 days per assignment.

• Location: Varies by project within Canyon County.
