Position Overview:  J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. is seeking to hire an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer (P.E.) to work in our successful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho office.  This position is perfect for recent graduates or December 2025 graduates up to new PEs with an interest and education focus on water and wastewater infrastructure engineering.  Our purpose at J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc. While applying technical civil engineering knowledge and skills, this engineering position will:

  • Play key roles in all phases of project planning, design, and construction management.
  • Plan, design and implement critical community infrastructure projects including regional water distribution, wastewater collection, pump stations, booter stations, irrigation, and storm water infrastructure.
  • Provide engineering support for various multi-disciplinary projects including municipal public works projects with city, county, state, and federal clients.
  • Participate in all phases of project development, permitting, planning, reports, design, and construction.
  • Attend public meetings, forums, and open houses to support senior project managers and engineers and answer questions from the public.
  • Analyze engineering data, interpret plans and specifications, and make sound decisions to solve challenges.
  • Collaborate with other project managers, senior engineers, junior engineers, operators, planners, public agencies, and contractors on projects. Workshare with other offices.
  • Utilize design tools such as Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, WaterCAD, and InfoSWMM.
