CLOSING DATE: Position for 2025-2026 school year. Open until filled.

DAYS: 190.00 Contract Days   

SALARY SCHEDULE: Placement on the District teacher salary schedule based on education and experience.
   
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: 
Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing needed to develop and implement instructional curriculum for students K-12 with Deaf/Hard of Hearing difficulties. Teacher will work directly with students delivering direct instruction using a variety of communication and hard of hearing access models. Proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) is critical.
Applicants must hold or be eligible to obtain an Idaho Education Credential endorsed in area of application.

Applicants must be Highly Qualified under State and Federal regulations.
District is seeking certified Teacher of the Deaf to assist in the development of IEP's pertinent to students with hearing impairments. Teacher will be directly responsible for supervising deaf education interpreters.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Contract Days: 190.00 day 1.0 FTE
Salary Range: Placement on District teacher salary schedule based upon education and experience.
Contract Start Date: 2025-2026 Contracted District start date.
 
BENEFITS:
Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance and Public Employee's Retirement System is available to Certificated employees with a contract of 0.50 FTE or greater.
