Job Description
Location: Remote EST hoursSalary: 100-110K
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, document, and refine business and functional requirements.
- Translate business needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria to support agile sprint grooming and planning sessions.
- Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by creating test plans, tracking defects, and validating fixes against requirements.
- Perform SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data for reporting, testing, and root cause analysis.
- Investigate system or process issues, identify root causes, and recommend effective solutions or enhancements.
- Work closely with developers, QA testers, and product owners to ensure delivered solutions meet business expectations.
- Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of the Agile development lifecycle.
- Maintain documentation, process flows, and data dictionaries to support business processes and technology solutions.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Strong skills in requirements elicitation, story grooming, and writing clear, actionable user stories.
- Hands-on experience with UAT coordination, including test planning and defect tracking.
- Proficiency in SQL for querying and validating data.
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis on systems, data, and process issues.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid Agile environments.
