Gem State Staffing is now hiring full-time Class A CDL Drivers for local hauling assignments based in Buhl, Idaho. If you’re a dependable, experienced driver who enjoys working outdoors and can handle long shifts, this is a great opportunity for a temp-to-hire or seasonal position with competitive pay and weekly hours.
Responsibilities:
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers over 16,000 lbs
- Haul materials to and from construction or asphalt production sites
- Follow asphalt production cycles and loading/unloading procedures
- Perform construction-related labor when not driving (e.g., shoveling, site prep)
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Prepare for long shifts and extreme weather by bringing appropriate gear, food, and water
- Participate in random drug testing during employment
