Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC has an opening for Wet Process Equipment Engineer in Boise, ID.

Job duties: Responsible for the installation, functionality, and maintenance of an equipment toolset. Analyzes data to make critical decisions and drive cost reduction activities. Provide troubleshooting support for complex problems and address root causes. Serve as a key area resource for technical support or providing required technical resources to support TD requirements. Identify and develop a strategy for each workstation improvement projects. Manage and track all installations, upgrades and evals. Maintain tool matching and drive machine hardware and s/w consistency. Manage all BOM and SAP PM lists to ensure they are accurate and up to date. Provide guidance to resolve equipment issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution. Drive a culture of TPM including TPM metrics, WS health reports, CIP items, MTAGs, MOP documents and restoration guides. Manage proper inventory levels including ATIR, vendor recommended spare parts, etc. Manage projects to ensure deliverables are completed within the required scope, schedule and budget. Track actions and provide escalation path or resources to ensure actions will be completed on time. Coordinate and lead meetings and initiates follow-up actions. Support department business processes for new tool installations, as well as existing tool modifications or removals. Partner with Procurement, PDE, PI, IE, and Shift Ops on new tool/chamber purchases (QPUP, QPODS). Complete all required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies and regulations. Follow-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and work towards resolution with stakeholders. Perform and facilitate audits and submit good catches on safety issues. Proactively reduce incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases. Operate and maintain tools according to documentation and guidelines to ensure safety and quality expectations are met. Ensure proper tool documentation/reaction mechanisms exist for shift teams and submits updates to content when needed. Maintain a constant improvement program for defect reduction / yield improvement. Review and document LTD issues to ensure root cause, follow-up documentation, and communication across TD & HVMs. Review and identify hardware related failures and creates and executes plans to fix root-cause. Partner with suppliers to resolve tool problems, defect issues, and maximize tool availability. Improve communication and collaboration with vendors and area, department, and network partners. Communicate proactively with MDE shift and Shift Ops leaders on the daily priorities and issues. Partner with Process Engineers and shift Engineers/Technicians to gather input for area improvement. Ensure pass down is updated and accurately reflects the work instructions to shift each day. May telecommute part-time.

Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Equipment Engineer-related occupation.
