Job Description

Experts in the art of hospitality, Idaho Central Arena and Block22 Companies create memorable experiences. We are a destination for experiences beyond the ordinary, the heart of downtown Boise. As a Bartender at IC Arena, you’ll be responsible for providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced arena environment.

Duties / Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests promptly with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and work areas throughout the event.
• Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.
• Assist in restocking and maintaining inventory levels.
• Process payments and provide accurate change.
• Promote a positive and engaging environment by interacting with guests.
• Perform side work and setup/teardown tasks before and after events.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Boise alcohol certification required.
• Knowledge of liquor, beer, wine, and basic mixology.
• Familiarity with state and local liquor laws.
• Ability to remain composed in fast-paced, high-volume environments.
• Strong customer service, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to make change quickly and accurately.
• Friendly, outgoing demeanor with a team-oriented attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
