Job Description
Gem State Staffing is hiring an experienced Warehouse Material Handler for a permanent, full-time position in Jerome, Idaho. This role involves loading/unloading trucks, operating forklifts and other equipment, picking/packing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 100 lbs, and follow all warehouse safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks; move materials to storage or production areas.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
- Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and RF scanners (certification provided if needed).
- Sort, label, and store products by order number, type, or product code.
- Conduct cycle counts, quality checks, and maintain accurate inventory.
- Prepare parcels for mailing or third-party delivery services.
- Keep work area clean and follow all safety protocols.
- Drive company delivery truck on assigned routes as needed.
