Job Description
Paradise Creek Recovery Center is looking for a part-time Addiction Educational Specialist to work in a residential treatment setting with adult males who are dealing with problematic sexual behavior and trauma issues. The position is part-time, between 20 and 30 hours per week. Responsibilities include teaching psycho-educational classes and groups called Principles of Recovery Seminars, which cover various addiction and recovery topics. Candidates will also review workbook assignments with clients and engage with them in other treatment activities.
The candidate must be able to work a rotating schedule that includes up to two Saturdays per month, as well as weekday hours, and be available to work PRN at other times if necessary. This role could develop into a full-time position in the future. The starting pay is $26.00 per hour.
This is a valuable opportunity for individuals beginning their careers in addiction or mental health. Candidates must reside in Cassia County, Idaho, and be able to travel to Malta, Idaho, where the treatment facility is located.
