Job Description
The Receiving Scanner plays a crucial role in the organization of inventory. This position is
responsible for the flow of hides that come into receiving. Seeking a high organized and
detail-oriented individual for Receiving department to oversee all aspects of orders and
receiving operations. The role is critical to maintain accurate inventory, legal tracking, and
smooth workflows across our facility and satellite hubs. Work as a team to be more
efficient in the completion of the job.
Key Responsibilities
▪ Receive customers’ orders and ensure that the orders are correct in the order form
▪ Check and report any damage or issues with hides
▪ Check all orders for completeness and accuracy upon arrival.
▪ Responsible for validating orders and accuracy
▪ Maintain Cleanliness and organization of the receiving area to ensure a safe working
environment
▪ Scan hides and place them in organize bin accordingly in the warehouse /freezer
▪ Stamping and marking of hides
▪ Opening Boxes and making sure everything is accurate to order forms
▪ Checking Condition of hides
Qualifications
▪ Bilingual is a plus (not required)
▪ Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with other staff and our
customers.
▪ Highly organized with strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
▪ Ability to work in a fast – paced environment
▪ Ability to lift 40 pounds
▪ Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours a day
▪ Reliable transportation
▪ Able to work as a team
Role Specifics
• Schedule: Monday -Friday 8am to 5pm
• Overtime available when needed
• Saturdays depending on workflow
