Micron Technology, Inc. has an opening for FAB Engineer in Boise, ID.
Job Duties: Drive improvements to manufacturing capability, deliver industry benchmark methods at the lowest cost, and manage the execution of global standards across process areas. Focus on Micron’s 4 pillars and ensure priorities are aligned to Micron’s business plan or Strategic Objective requirements across manufacturing sites. Leverage global internal and external resources to drive network process and equipment alignment to achieve world-class manufacturing performance. Establish Training, Disciplines, Alignment Programs and Team/Talent management to enable virtual clustered scale across the network. Leverage suppliers to achieve benchmark manufacturing performance, discovery and implementation of equipment and process best known methods (BKM), equipment utilization optimization, cash cost and labor efficiency optimization, and continuous improvement project prioritization and execution globally. Support the ID1 HVM site in Boise through coaching, training, and implementation of HVM network BKMs, systems and practices to support the site development, ramp, and integration to the network. Collaborate with sites, Procurement, Global Quality and other OCT departments, and external suppliers to accomplish Micron’s objectives. Position requires international and domestic travel.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Engineering or related field, and five years of experience in job offered or in a FAB Engineer-related occupation.
