CNC Programmer / Machinist (Entry-Level Training Provided)
Location: Gem State Staffing – 914 N. Curtis Rd, Boise, ID
Pay: $15.00/hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts (3-day weekends!)
About the Role:
Gem State Staffing is seeking a motivated CNC Programmer/Machinist to join our team. This is a hands-on opportunity to train directly under a Master Machinist and gain valuable skills in machining, programming, and shop operations.
Responsibilities:
- Fully engage in training with a Master Machinist
- Follow instructions and actively participate in machining tasks
- Assist with daily shop operations
- Learn to set up and run CNC lathes and mills
Qualifications:
- Mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills
- Great attitude and willingness to learn
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- No prior CNC experience required — training provided
Skills You Will Learn:
- Reading and using precision tools
- Setting up and operating CNC lathes and mills
- Understanding and applying MIL-SPEC requirements
