Personnel Plus is now accepting full-time Class A’ Commercial Drivers applications. Drivers are needed for local companies to haul potato waste. This position is Full-time.
Job Description:
• Drivers will transport commodities to the plant from local farmers and facilities. Drivers will utilize multiple truck/trailer combinations.
• Drivers will also perform preventative maintenance on equipment and perform general maintenance of the facility.
• Record keeping responsibilities required for warehouse/inventory control.
Schedule:
• Home daily
• Overtime
Experience:
• Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
• Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
Shift: Days: Depending on weather
License/Certification: CDL A Required and current Medical Card
Qualifications
License/Certification: CDL A Required and current Medical Card
Is registered with clearing house.
Responsibilities
Transport commodities to and from manufacturing plants
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Document trips using the ELD system
Comply with FMCSA regulations
Collect and verify delivery instructions
