Job Description
Mountain View School District #244 has an opening for an District Transportation Head Mechanic- Driver at the Grangeville High School location in Grangeville, Idaho.
The Head Bus Mechanic- Driver is a at will, skilled, dual role position overseeing both the technical maintenance of a school bus fleet and the operational management of bus drivers and routes along with responsibility for the overall routing and scheduling of all student transportation needs, works with students, parents, school administers in assuring that students and staff are provided safe and efficient transportation. Responsibilities include performing complex vehicle repairs, maintaining buses, planning routes, scheduling drivers, and ensuring safe and efficient operation. This role requires excellent mechanic skills, a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements, and strong supervisory and communication abilities.
Pay range is dependent upon relevant experience. Health benefits, retirement, paid leave is offered with this position.
