The Lead Transportation Mechanic is a at will, skilled, position overseeing the technical maintenance of a school bus fleet, diagnonsing issues, performing hands on work and maintaining detailed service records to ensure student safety and regulatory compliance. Key responsibilities include scheduling maintenance, troubleshooting diesel engines and hydraulic systems, managing parts inventory and ensuring safe and efficient operation. This role requires excellent mechanic skills, a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with passenger and school bus endorsements, and strong communication abilities.
Pay range is dependent upon revelant experience. Health benefits, retirement, paid leave is offered with this position.
