Job Description

Mountain Village Resort in Stanley, Idaho operates a 61-room Lodge, RV park, Restaurant, Saloon, Dance Hall, Mercantile, Gas & Service Station and many rental properties.  We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to fulfill the many maintenance duties throughout our properties.  Must be willing to relocate to Stanley. 

Compensation: Based on experience and leadership skills

Hours/schedule: Year-Round, Full-Time (Must be able to work a minimum of five days a week and be available to be on call 24/7.)

• Ability to manage a team of maintenance workers and delegate work appropriately
• Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
• Prioritize projects
• Knowledge of and abide by all safety standards
• Well organized
• Able to manage time efficiently
• Must be punctual with excellent communication skills
• Able to train team members
• Manage maintenance emergencies as they arise
• General knowledge of:

  • Wood working
  • Building and construction
  • Operating machinery

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Creating schedule for team members
• Hiring and termination of maintenance team
• Creating priority task lists and follow-up
• Specialized and custom projects
• Organization and inventory of maintenance sheds and supplies

The maintenance manager will report directly to the owners.

Must be drug free.
