Job Description
Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking Accountant I to perform detailed accounting assignments and administrative expense accruals.To be considered for this opportunity, you have:
Experience: None
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years' relevant work experience is equivalent to one-year college)
Licenses/Certifications: None
In this role, we will ask you to:
- Perform monthly general ledger month end/quarterly/yearly close and reconciliation functions.
- Performs Various Audits-Group Audits, Soc 1, Year-end
- Leads the monthly operation flux entries and analytics.
- Perform research and analytics as requested.
- Complete journal entries and make appropriate corrections and adjustments as required.
- Review, analyze, post, and reconcile accounts and reports accurately and timely
- Responsible for adhering to and maintaining accounting policies and established internal controls.
- Performs administrative duties, as requested
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay range is $25.55 to $35.77 The position is eligible for an annual incentive bonus (variable depending on company and employee performance.)
The pay range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, internal equity, geography, business or organizational needs, and alignment with market data. At Blue Cross of Idaho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for the position. Compensation decisions are dependent on factors and circumstances at the time of offer.
