Job Description

Duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:

1. Must be knowledgeable in DOT regulations and requirements.
2. Must be knowledgeable in the operation of Kenworth or Peterbilt 4 axle tractors or similar vehicles.
3. Must be able to perform inspection of tractor, trailer, tires and vital fluids before the start of shift and after.
4. Must be able to perform inspection of containers to ensure waste is secured properly.
5. Must be able to clean interior of cab, windshield, mirrors, lights, taillights and reflectors pre/post shift.
6. Drivers are responsible for washing, greasing and light maintenance of tractors and chassis/trailers.
7. Must be able to deliver containers safely.
8. Must be able to communicate with other operators and drivers via CB radio.
9. Must be able to maintain driver logs according to state and federal regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must have current CDL
2. Must have current medical card
3. Must have proper endorsements as necessary.
