Tow Truck Driver Job Summary
Our company is looking for a Tow Truck Driver to join our fleet. We prefer a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and some commercial driving or trucking experience. A background in roadside assistance or experience loading and unloading a flatbed truck or tractor-trailer is a plus. Your primary duties will revolve around assisting disabled motorists with services such as transporting them to a nearby garage, or towing cars that have a parking or other illegal infractions. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and can manage their time well while on the road.
Tow Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities
- Respond to accidents, break-downs, and other roadside incidents
- Stay in contact with motorists when you are enroute
- Perform towing of customers vehicle to a garage
- Safely load cars onto the back of your truck
- Keep your truck clean and in good condition
- Remove cars per Law Enforcement request
