Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Resolves customer inquiries by utilizing SAP and departmental resources
  • Develops and maintains documentation on all assigned customers/business units/locations
  • Researches and works across functional areas to identify and resolve order accuracy, product availability, and order timeliness
  • Processes standard orders received by customer or field sales (via telephone, fax, EDI, e-mail) including ensuring the invoicing of shipments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Processes EDI orders, resolving any errors on both the inbound order, and outbound subsequent documents
  • Communicates effectively with distribution facilities to ensure on-time shipment and delivery of customer orders, thus maintaining appropriate service levels
  • Works effectively and professionally with the customer and with internal functional areas, to include, but not limited to:  Distribution, Credit, Accounts Receivable, Sales & Operations Planning
  • Delivers on defined operational goals and development plans, keeping Supervisor informed on progress, and ensures timely and accurate completion of work to goals.
  • Supports RE025 SOX Audit control with weekly performance of self- and partner- order audits
  • Performs other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Order Management team
QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Consumer Products experience preferred
  • Experience working with EDI preferred
  • Experience working with enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, AS400, A+
  • Experience multi- tasking and resolving problems in a professional manner
  • Works well in an environment with firm deadlines; results oriented
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Polite and positive phone demeanor
  • Strong written, verbal, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail, goal oriented
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
  • Perform multiple tasks effectively; prioritize and respond with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION  

  • 3+ years of multi-product Customer Service experience and/or previous sales experience.
  • Experience working with large customer base and high volume of transactions
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Products is necessary (Excel, Outlook)
WORKING CONDITIONS
  • Corporate office environment or home office with frequent use of phone and PC
  • New Employee training is held in the office. WFH is offered after training is complete
