Job Description
Customer Service Specialist (Temp-to-Hire)
Pay: $19–$22 per hour (DOE)
Gem State Staffing is seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Specialist for a temp-to-hire position. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, adaptable, and committed to delivering excellent service, with a strong emphasis on resolving customer issues on the first call.
Responsibilities:
- Handle customer service requests with courtesy and professionalism
- Schedule and manage customer appointments
- Answer customer questions and provide accurate information
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns efficiently
- Assist with billing inquiries and clearly explain charges
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions
- Strive for one-call resolution while ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- Comfortable using Microsoft programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Positive, friendly, and supportive attitude
- Strong problem-solving skills
- High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to unexpected changes
- Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
