Job Description

Responsibilities Include:

• Understanding the needs of potential customers and identifying the correct solutions for their applications 
• Interfacing with customers both verbally and through written communication
• Preparing accurate & detailed written proposals with product pricing to present AMET Inc. products to potential customers 
• Cooperating with Mechanical Engineering Department to ensure that Design Concepts and Final Designs match customer expectations. 
• Negotiating Terms and Conditions of incoming contracts 
• Acting as the interface point between the customer and AMET Inc. throughout the manufacturing process 
• Providing support to AMET Inc. Outside Sales Representatives 
• Preparing product documentation
• Compiling supporting information for quotes into a presentable document for customers
• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivated
• Maintaining sales cost and communicating with customers

Preferred Technical Skills/Education: 

• Excellent written & verbal communication skills 
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• 1-2 Years of Experience of contract negotiations and/or technical writing 
• Technical experience with electronics or welding 
• An ability to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situations
• Knowledge of PC based computers, Mac experience is a plus.
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software.
