Job Summary:

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 4pm - Midnight.

Under the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, he Sonographer/Ultrasound Tech; performs medical sonograms, exercises professional judgment in performance procedures and provides safe patient care. 

Education and Training:

  • High School Diploma or GED;
  • Minimum of 12 months of continuing education or practical experience in ultrasound

Licensures/ Certifications:

  • Certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or in process of obtaining certification, must be obtained within 1 year.
  • Current American Heart Association's BLS/CPR certification on hire or within orientation period

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of clinical experience, preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Competent in the use of a computer and computer systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
