Job Summary

Must be 18 years or older. We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in need of assistance. As a caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by offering personal care, companionship, and support in daily activities. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, a nurturing attitude, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Preference will be given to those candidates that are available for weekend, evening & overnight shifts.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide medication reminders as per care plans and ensure compliance with prescribed regimens.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient conditions.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Prepare meals according to dietary requirements and assist with meal planning.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Support clients with mobility challenges using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with conditions such as Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.

Skills

• Caregiving experience is preferred but not required.
• Strong patient observation skills to recognize changes in health status or behavior.
• Ability to assist clients with mobility or transfers.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality and privacy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families and office staff.
