Job Description

Lakeland Joint School District is seeking applications for an Administrative Assistant at the Lakeland Transportation Department for the 2025–2026 school year.

  • Schedule: 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, year-round
  • Pay Range: $18.27–$20.72 per hour, DOE
  • Benefits: Full benefits package, including PERSI retirement, medical, dental, and sick leave

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must have a valid CDL or be able to obtain one within 30 days of employment
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Proficiency in Google applications, with special emphasis on Google Sheets
  • Strong written and verbal English skills, including correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Ability to successfully complete a bookkeeping test
  • Prior experience processing timesheets and calculating trip sheets is a plus, but not required
