Job Description
Crack Seal Laborer
Day Shift, Monday- Thursday, 7 am- 5:30 pm
Enjoy 3-day weekends
$19.00 p/h
Duties:
Fall/Winter Maintenance Crew-
Fill voids with hot-applied asphalt-based sealant
Use compressed air and heat to remove moisture & debris from the pavement cracks
Care for and maintain District 1-ton truck
Walk up to 10 miles per day while in the traffic and Right-of-Way
Knock on doors to get cars moved when needed
Must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic, willing to take direction on processes and procedures
Able to work outdoors in the fall and winter months
Set-up and tear down traffic control barriers
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
A Valid Drivers License
Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic
Work well in a team environment
Ability to follow directions on county processes and procedures
Follow and adhere to all safety policies and regulations
Operate all county vehicles and equipment in a safe and professional manner
Work 10-hour shifts outdoors in all weather conditions.
