Thomas Custom Fencing, Inc. is seeking a fence laborer. The job is essential in the construction and maintenance of fencing structures. This job requires working outdoors in various weather conditions. This job requires physical stamina. The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials. You will need the ability to perform basic calculations related to measurements and materials quantities. You will need the ability to understand and follow instructions as well as communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. You must have a driver's license and a vehicle.
The key responsibilities for this job are:
- Material Handling: Loading and unloading materials, staging materials to the fence line.
- Installation Tasks: Assisting in installing various types of fences as directed by the foreman or crew leader.
- Site Preparation: Prepare the worksite by digging holes for posts, mixing concrete, and ensuring the area is clean.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete installation tasks.
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
