Job Description

As a Room Inspector Courtyard, you’ll be the quality expert who ensures every room meets our highest standards while guiding and supporting the team behind the scenes.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness, presentation, and safety standards are consistently met or exceeded.
• Promptly report maintenance or service issues to the appropriate department and follow up to ensure resolution.
• Identify patterns in cleanliness or service issues and support the coaching and training of Room Attendants under the direction of department leadership.
• Assist Room Attendants by delivering needed supplies or providing hands-on support during peak times.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Desk to communicate room readiness and guest-specific requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with team members and supervisors to support overall department performance.
• Uphold confidentiality and security standards with regard to guest and hotel information.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and cleanliness.
• Solid leadership skills and the ability to effectively coach and motivate team members.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and comfort with hotel software or inspection checklists.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills across departments.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability includes weekends and some holidays, according to business needs. 

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. as needed.
