Our client seeks a Business Project Manager to lead end-to-end business execution and go-to-market planning for a complex Specialty Benefits Individual Dental and Vision initiative. The role will integrate strategy, delivery, and adoption across product, sales, marketing, operations, underwriting, finance, billing, enrollment, and technology partners. Success requires strong matrix leadership, change management, stakeholder governance, and agile program delivery to achieve timely rollout and measurable business outcomes.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $55.00 to $65.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:
+ Own and manage the end-to-end business program plan, integrating all workstreams into a cohesive execution roadmap and project plan.
+ Develop and maintain individual workstream plans and the overarching program plan with aligned dependencies, timelines, and deliverables.
+ Drive execution across strategy, go-to-market activities, marketing, communications, training, market rollout, change management, and support.
+ Identify and manage interdependencies across workstreams to ensure alignment and eliminate silos.
+ Lead and guide a matrixed cross-functional team, driving accountability at workstream and program levels.
+ Partner with workstream leads to connect execution details to program strategy and outcomes.
+ Define and align roles, responsibilities, and resource allocation with the Enterprise Technology Project Manager.
+ Build relationships through trust, transparency, and clear communication.
+ Align sales strategy, marketing strategy, communications, and execution plans across workstreams.
+ Define and drive training strategy and execution, including development, ownership, rollout approach, and user readiness.
+ Establish, track, and represent marketing and communications strategies to ensure consistent messaging for internal and external audiences.
+ Develop and manage comprehensive communication plans detailing changes, timing, user impacts, and required actions with leads and SMEs.
+ Ensure execution across appropriate channels including internal communications, leadership cascades, external platforms, and websites.
+ Lead the change management workstream to achieve alignment, transparency, and successful rollout.
+ Own and execute the go-to-market strategy, including stakeholder and user readiness across impacted audiences.
+ Align change management with training, communications, and execution strategies to drive adoption and minimize disruption.
+ Lead stakeholder engagement, communication, and governance to ensure alignment across all levels.
+ Facilitate cross-team discussions, governance forums, and decision-making sessions.
+ Act as the central communication conduit across teams, stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
+ Provide regular briefings and status updates to maintain transparency and timely decisions.
+ Drive momentum and accountability by clarifying and advancing priorities.
+ Identify risks and hidden issues proactively and develop mitigation strategies.
+ Anticipate changes and adjust plans to maintain delivery confidence.
+ Ensure go-live readiness, including checklists, support models, and hyper care planning with vendors.
+ Integrate business project plans, risks, assumptions, issues, and status into a comprehensive program view with Enterprise Technology and business leads.
+ Continuously assess workstream progress to determine overall program health.
+ Co-own project status reporting with the Enterprise Technology Project Manager for stakeholders and senior leadership.
+ Monitor adherence to vendor Statements of Work in partnership with supporting teams.
Experience Requirements:
+ 8 to 10 years of business project management and complex program leadership experience.
+ Proven large-scale program leadership with matrix team management and cross-functional accountability.
+ Strategic and execution mindset that connects business strategy to go-to-market and execution.
+ Outstanding communication, presentation, project management, and leadership skills.
+ Exceptional stakeholder engagement with the ability to simplify complexity and influence at all levels.
+ Proactive risk identification and problem solving with strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
+ Strong business and technical acumen with SDLC and Agile experience, connecting business needs and technology.
+ Experience leading change management, training, communications, and adoption activities.
+ Effective time and project management with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines.
+ Demonstrated collaboration skills with dependency mapping across teams.
+ Risk management capability to identify risks and propose action steps.
+ Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize based on deadlines, emerging risks, and leadership feedback.
+ Health insurance or managed care industry experience (preferred).
Education Requirements:
+ BA or BS in Business, or equivalent work experience.
