Adult Protective Services Worker

at Eastern Idaho Community Action Partnership in IDAHO FALLS, Idaho, United States

Job Description

Join Our Team as an Adult Protective Services Worker

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career that makes a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in our community? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

EICAP is seeking an experienced and compassionate Adult Protective Services Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating reports of abuse, neglect, or exploitation of vulnerable adults, and implementing supportive and/or emergency services necessary to reduce or eliminate the risk of harm.

As the ideal candidate, you have a Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a human services field or law enforcement, and at least 2 years of experience working with vulnerable adults. If you are currently working towards your degree, we may also consider your application with approval from the Idaho Commission on Aging.

This role serves older adults (age 60+) and individuals with disabilities across the six-county Planning and Service Area (PSA): Bannock, Bear Lake, Bingham, Caribou, Franklin, and Power counties. The position is based in the Pocatello service area rather than EICAP's Idaho Falls main office and is structured as a remote role, with regular work conducted throughout the communities served.

To succeed in this role, you must be a team player who can conduct yourself in a professional and cooperative manner with clients, co-workers, and other agencies or organizations. You must also adhere to federal and state rules, regulations, and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics, and participate in required professional development and training activities.

If you are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable adults in our community, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity as an Adult Protection Worker.

We offer a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive work environment that encourages professional growth and development.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, hourly position with a strong benefits package and long-term stability.

  • Starting wage: $21.08 per hour
  • 403(b) Retirement Plan with 6% employer match
  • Health Insurance (multiple plan options; EICAP pays the majority of your premium and 60% of dependent premiums)
  • Employer-funded Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA)
  • Dental & Vision Insurance (60% of employee and dependent premiums covered)
  • 100% employer-paid life insurance, with optional supplemental coverage
  • Employer-paid telehealth and virtual mental health services
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
  • Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA & Dependent Care FSA)
  • Optional employee-paid benefits (legal assistance, identity protection, pet benefits, and more)
  • Paid holidays, sick leave and vacation

If you are interested in this position, please submit your resume. We look forward to hearing from you and finding the right candidate to join our team!
