Painter/Sandblaster – Road Maintenance Equipment
Location: Pocatello Pay: DOE $20/hr
Seeking a skilled Painter/Sandblaster to prep, sandblast, and paint road maintenance equipment. This position is responsible for surface prep, abrasive blasting, applying industrial coatings, and ensuring high‑quality results. Duties include maintaining equipment, following safety and environmental guidelines, and working with shop staff to coordinate repairs and refinishing.
Requirements:
• Experience with industrial painting or sandblasting preferred: heavy equipment, willing to train the right candidate.
• Knowledge of coating systems, surface prep, and safe equipment operation.
• Ability to follow OSHA/EPA safety standards and use required PPE.
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and work in various positions.
Preferred:
• Industrial coating/blasting certifications.
• Experience in painting.
