T&J Enterprises Inc.A Safety Orientated Mineral Exploration Drilling Company**Job Profile: Driller’s Assistant****Position Overview**We are seeking a reliable, physically fit Driller’s Assistant to join our field operations team. In this role, you will assist the Driller in executing safe and efficient drilling operations. This is a hands-on, outdoor role requiring travel and a strong commitment to worksite safety.Key Responsibilities- Rig Setup & Operation: Assist the Driller in mobilizing, assembling, and positioning drilling rigs and heavy equipment at project sites.- Maintenance & Support: Conduct routine checks on vehicles and equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and assist with on-site repairs.- Sampling & Logging: Help collect, log, and prepare high-quality geological, environmental, or core soil samples as instructed.- Site Management: Set up safety zones, load and unload tooling and drilling supplies, and maintain a clean, organized work area.- Compliance & Safety: Participate in daily safety meetings, utilize proper PPE, and ensure all work aligns with OSHA/MSHA and company guidelines.Qualifications & Requirements- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.- Valid driver’s license preferred.- Ability to perform physically demanding labor, including repetitive bending, lifting materials up to 50+ lbs, and climbing.- Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions and traveling as project needs dictate.What We Offer- Hourly pay with overtime opportunities.
