Kitchen Staff – The Nook Steakhouse & Lounge

Location: Salmon, Idaho
Job Type: Part‑Time or Full‑Time
Shift: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

The Nook is looking for dependable, positive, and hard‑working individuals to join our kitchen team. We run a unified kitchen where everyone works together from start to finish — prep, service, cleaning, and close. If you’re reliable, willing to learn, and enjoy a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment, this is a great fit.

• Arrive at 2:00 PM and work as part of a unified kitchen team
• Assist with daily prep: chopping, portioning, stocking, and station setup
• Work assigned stations such as Dish, Salad/Prep, Fry, or Line
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times
• Follow strict clean‑as‑you‑go expectations — wiping, sweeping, organizing, and resetting stations
• Participate in full end‑of‑night cleaning, including equipment, floors, dishes, and work areas
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Support the team through service and closing duties
• No one leaves later than 10:00 PM — the kitchen starts together and finishes together

• Experience is a plus, but trainability matters more

• Starting wage: $16.00/hr
• 60‑day evaluation with potential raise based on performance, reliability, and teamwork
• Pay is negotiable for applicants with strong experience or multi‑station skills
