Job Description
FUEL TRUCK DRIVER needed for Wildland fires. Employer is recruiting nationwide. MUST HAVE ALL of the following to apply: current Class A or B CDL with Tanker and Hazardous Materials endorsements, current DOT Medical Card, and current year 2026 Standards of Survival Training (RT-130), or possible training available. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Dispense fuel from fuel truck to various trucks and equipment. Must keep fuel truck full—either calling for refueling or driving to re-fuel. Responsible for detailed paperwork and extensive paper logs. Must have legible handwriting. Need reliable transportation to employers workplace. Job will vary depending on fire season and calls by the USFS for equipment and staff. Pay begins when truck is dispatched to fire and ends when you return and park truck in driveway. Must be ready to go to work on short notice. Hours/Days are variable, depending on Season. Wage averages $500 per day, depending on experience.
