**Description**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following;- Utilize GPS systems and traditional means to set grade and conduct construction layout on highways, parking lots and civil sitework projects.- Must be willing to do manual labor- Read, understand and verify survey stakes to determine grade specifications- Always work safely and take action to prevent any and all unsafe actions or behaviors- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisorMinimum Qualifications;- Requires bending, kneeling, climbing, walking and twisting- Aptitude for math and problem solving- 2 years working in civil construction including earthwork, paving and concrete preferred- Ability to read, understand and verify construction plans a bonus- Troubleshoot situations and solve problems.
