Job Description
We are seeking a motivated, self-starting CAD Draftsperson to support our growing sales and project pipeline in the material handling industry. This is a fully remote (work-from-home) position, with the company providing all necessary computer hardware and AutoCAD software.
In this role, you will work directly with our Sales Lead, who secures the projects and provides the initial scopes. Your primary focus will be the technical execution: modeling, detailing, and drafting conveyors and equipment for the grain and aggregate industries. You will work from home daily, with occasional travel alongside or on behalf of the Sales Lead across the Pacific Northwest and Montana for on-site data gathering and field verification.
- Drafting & Detailing: Model and detail material handling equipment, conveyor systems, and structures for fabrication and installation based on project scopes.
- AutoCAD Production: Utilize AutoCAD 2D to create precise layouts, manufacturing drawings, and technical schematics.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Sales Lead to review project requirements, implement design changes, and prepare files for fabrication.
- Field Verification: Travel occasionally within the Pacific Northwest and Montana to assist with on-site data gathering, equipment inspections, and client site measurements.
