Job Description
West Boise Sewer District seeks an employee whose principal function is to flush clean, inspect, camera and otherwise maintain District sewer lines. The duties are performed in an outdoor environment that may involve adverse weather conditions and related hazards. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week; perform on-call assignments which may require work on weekends and/or holidays. Schedule of work hours may vary depending on season. Must have a valid Idaho CDL Class B License with tanker and airbrake endorsements. Provide recent driver record and consent to periodic checks during employment. Ability to successfully pass a drug screening test and subsequent random drug test in accordance with District policies. Have a high school diploma or equivalent. Must obtain a Wastewater Collection Operator Class I License within one (1) year of hire date. Must be able to lift 60 lbs and safely enter, exit and work in manholes having a 24-inch wide opening.
