Job Description
Hotel Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Full-Time Maintenance Technician to join our multi-award-winning hotel team. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our property remains safe, functional, and welcoming for both guests and team members.
Our hotel features 103 guest rooms, a swimming pool and hot tub, meeting spaces, fitness facilities, and beautifully maintained public areas. While previous maintenance experience is preferred, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities: vary from day to day and may include, but are not limited to:
Repairing and maintaining door locks and hardware
Cleaning, testing, and maintaining the pool and spa
Maintaining hotel grounds and exterior areas
Setting up and arranging meeting room spaces
Cleaning and extracting carpets as needed
Maintaining and troubleshooting ice machines
Repairing and servicing fitness equipment
Maintaining electronics, furniture, fixtures, and equipment throughout the hotel
Performing repairs and preventative maintenance in guest rooms and bathrooms
Maintaining the lobby, public restrooms, meeting spaces, and employee work areas
Assisting with deep cleaning and special projects
Responding to maintenance requests in a timely manner
Performing other related duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
Basic knowledge of maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting practices preferred
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong organizational and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work professionally with vendors, contractors, guests, and fellow team members
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects
Must be able to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment
